Teaching
Ari teaches songwriting, voice, piano and jazz improvisation. She formerly taught at Wheaton College, Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory prep.
She works with everyone from children to professional recording artists.
She regularly teaches jazz voice clinics across the the world.
She specializes in teaching self-accompanying Singer-Songwriters, vocal improvisation, songwriting and voice technique (she has taken all 3 levels of Somatic Voicework™ in addition to her B.M. and M.M.)
She has written multiple vocal jazz books and published them on her website.
Performing
She has led multiple jazz tours. Most recently, she led a 2-week tour through the Midwest.
In June 2026 she co-released her album Kaleidoscope with Cecil Alexander
Performed for 3 consecutive nights at Dizzy’s Club at the Lincoln Center
Touring through most of the United States in 2026 with her new album Kaleidoscope
