This course will meet 4 times in August on: Sunday August 2nd, Monday August 10th, Sunday August 16 and Sunday August 23 at 1 PM EST. The class runs for around 90 minutes, and it’s a hybrid of a private lesson (custom assignment) a workshop and a lecture/ lesson. MAKE SURE TO CHECK THE TIME ZONE BEFORE SIGNING UP! THERE ARE TWO SECTIONS ON MY WEBSITE YOU CAN SIGN UP TO.
A typical class will look as follows:

30-45 minute workshop
30 minute lesson/ lecture on the assignment for the coming week.
The class will be capped at 6 people to allow everyone in the course a chance to share their assignments in a workshop atmosphere. You should only join if you feel comfortable singing on zoom at every meeting.
You will learn at least 2 transcriptions in depth and learn how to analyze them.
The course is advanced and requires at least 3 hours of practice outside of the meetings every week.
The assignments will be custom for each student and assigned by email after the class. Assignments will be comprised of etudes, exercises, transcriptions and repertoire.
At the end of the course, you should feel comfortable creating your own vocabulary, so you can continue to develop your improvisational and artistic voice.
This course is NOT recommended for beginners.
